I have this water system, I won it from a homestead channel.
Excellent video! I just got my filter system delivered. I set it up and ran it to flush the filters. Now I want to pack it away for a trip in our RV. I can’t figure out how to remove the small clean water tubes from the unit. Any advice?
Anything RO is a waste, because of the way they work. They have to filter usually 3x what they produce, and send the rest to waste.

Interesting product, give it some thought with the 6 filters. I think I’d pre-filter the muddy water first to make it at least yellow and clear. Then run it through the unit to prolong the life of the cartridge filters/membranes.

Pre-filterer with two to four layers on the intake, why burn thru expensive filters!
Using coffee filters to get the mud out before it hits your fancy charcoal filter will make it last MUCH LONGER!
I bought a 50 pound pail of pool shock and several hundred coffee filters for iffy water. They are much more expensive now, but they are bomb proof. Be sure to store the pool shock outside in the shade. It will corrode any metal near it!

I want one with a natural type of filter, where something can be Jerry rigged in in case you cannot get a filter in emergency situations.

Thank you for sharing about the ITEHIL :). After you are done filtering water, and you turn the system back on to run all the water that is still in the system out before you store it, do you happen to know what the best way to store the machine (and used filters) would be after each use to avoid mold? Is it best to remove the filters and let them air out before storage, or should the filters remain inside the machine while being stored, even if it’s for several months at a time? This would be good to know for people who only plan on using it for camping, or emergency situations.
I just got one. Plugged it into the wall and the red light came on and then intermittently blinked and went back to solid. Back and forth like this. I figured it was just charging. I checked it again in the morning after "charging" overnight and it’s still doing the same thing? I figured the light would turn green perhaps on a full charge? The instructions don’t say anything about it. Does this seem right?

It must be using Lithium Ion batteries, not LiFePO4. Therefore even if your don’t cycle the batteries to the end of their life, shelf life will eventually result in the batteries becoming useless, same as a cell phone or lap top. There is no mention on their web site about battery replacement in that eventuality.

What happens to the interior mechanism if an emp hits? Could it possibly destroy the inner mechanisms ? Then you have a useless machine that won’t pump. Even with solar back up

I’ve been looking at this for a while and now that the filters are more available, I might jump on it. I’ve got a Jackery and some solar panels, so this can work off grid as long as the sun continues to shine. One question though, can you take the non-potable dish-washing water and run it through the system again to turn it into drinking water?
Ill wait for more reviews to pop up. New brands give me hesitancy.
