Not bad, worth it, Just have some salt nd pepper for more flavoring. emergency food.
If you only have 2 people in the house, can you just cook what you need to and save the rest of the “powder” or how does that work? Do you have to cook the entire packet at once? How do they expect you to get 150 meals out of this if you have 2 people?
You need to try Mountain house. Their food is so much better!!
Notice she continually said she could add meat/protein to the dishes. That’s why these are so cheap compared to others.
At age 78, born directly after World War II and being raised by parents who went through the depression, I was fascinated by this video. Surprised me, and I’m ever so glad you did, Nicole. Absolutely loved this one!
Came across this video. Ty for not making it long and boring but it was short and sweet
I grew up on powdered milk we didn’t get a lot of regular milk. It probably tastes like that
I personally keep several things like lintels and other prepackaged premade items from Costco Whole Foods and sprouts
Can’t cook if the power is out. If not I have at least 2 months of food in my 2 fridges and dry food in cupboards!
Looks like the mac & cheese and the Alfredo is good but the rest of it probably not so it would be best to pick your items. I’m just buying them individually to try them because there’s no point in buying a whole bunch if your family won’t eat it. It’s awful, but my kids would rather starve if they don’t like the food.
Readywise is better than nothing, but not much better, spend your money on Mountain House or Provident Pantry unless you simply can’t afford it. Watch more reviews.
you’d better put some extra seasoning in the bucket.
Lets be honest, if something does really happen. Preppers will just d*e a couple years after everyone else.
Rich spoiled clueless ho.

Thanks for testing. Makes me want to prepare my own kit. Love his comment, "From the end of the world?"
Add boiling water when you have no electricity On your electric stove
Thank you for the video I was always wondering what it taste
if it’s the apocalypse, does the bucket also serve as an emergency toilet?
This feels very comforting to watch with just a hint of anxiety
They are selling these buckets in canada for 225$ plus smh
those are not. preservative packs 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 they are oxigen absorbers, it helps maintain an oxigen free environment inside the bag so bacteria and bugs to reproduce
For one person, how many meals does it make ? Is it worth the money ? Would it save dollars for college / university students?
Dehydrated foods are also long term storage if they are packaged air tight
Great idea, but sadly not if yiu food allergies, lol.
This was a bad review lol
Lots of chemicals. Might as well take chances without it.
I had astronaut food. It was meatloaf flavored tooth paste.. dunno i think mre are better
4 for a month? That box can last for 1 month or 2…. In our country, that costs 500USD… so sad…..
I like how this video is recorded like the office. And her small jokes are so funny lol
ngl i would bring this to college its very cost effective
Vodka has no expiration date…I love the way Nicole thinks! Cheers
i feel like it would be better if they rationed it per serving instead of lumping all similar dishes into one big pack.
The South Park character Chef Camio was fun
omg this is a dream come ture
I mean nothing looked bad, a few looked really good and i imagine in a survival situation, this kind of food probably tastes amazing. I liked the review, thanks for posting.
Americans will need this after the recession canada is about to send them into
Great straight to the point video!
Costco
Just hope you have clean water available 😂
What do you don’t have pots and pans? How do you cook that?
Does anyone question how much clean potable water is required for these emergency meals? That’s alot of water! Even assuming you have access to a water source you would have to make sure it was safe to use, and that’s so much more additional water to purify (if needed) in addition to what you should be drinking alone to stay hyrldrated. Holy smokes!
It’s HILARIOUS that she assumes there will be electricity! 😅😅😅🙄
The grocery stores will be empty from looti g or have maggot-riddled meat and fruit. It will smell horrible. They usually have a generator and enough fuel for a day or two at most.
Better have cash on you because they can’t use their credit card system. The ATMs won’t work and banks require electric to transact any busuness.
The grocery store electric cash registers don’t work either. These days there is usually not a human-readable price on anything just bar codes.
Everything in your freezer and fridge will spoil within 2 days at most. You need to eat or cook and eat or preserve everything in the fridge and freezer within the first 48 hours at most. Turn your frozen steaks and chicken into jerkey, it will keep shelf stable without refrigeration.
I have a huge outside grill that can run on charcoal or propane. It even has a gas burning
stove for heating things in pans.
Drink your milk, eat your eggs or you will lose them to spoilage.
If you have an electric stove you must have an alternative way to cook.
I have a cheap $10 Coughlan stove
and use sterno cans (like buffets use for chafing dishes). It is a good safe way of cooking indoors without any fumes.
Before you choose a fuel source read up on it as most have horrid toxic fumes.
I wish we had something like that. We only have canned foods.
Emergency. No gas, no electricity.
Tenx always for ur honest opinion❤
They offer a freeze dried meat bucket too. These meals have no real meat protein in them. Expensive today though. I have a similar bucket but added seperate No10 cans of different meats.
No meats!
Personally I think having to take them out of the packaging to cook them is a turnoff. In emergency situations you dont want to have separate bowls and pans for cooking and stuff cuz you still need to do the dishes to eat the next batch of meals. It is more important to have the meals be heatable and eatable straight from the package already so you can use say one pot of water to heat all your meals. Mountain House is an example of this.
Watching from
California we need to create our own emergency food supply and we know what we like and yes more spices need to be included
Keep some Pure Vanilla extract on hand, a few drops make skim milk taste not too bad. PVE has a long shelf life.
