  1. awful design for vestibule. If water or snow is happening, you unzip your door and it come flying in

  2. Sir please more content like this, about decent and less money gear hiking, in my country every famous brands hiking gear is *too* expensive.

  3. My tent was 30$ and weather proof it. I live in California where it doesn’t rain in the summer or for 255 days out of the year it’s šŸŒž šŸŽ‰

  4. Maybe if they sold tents that couldn’t be seen from space. I’m not a fan of bright color tents

  5. Will it make through noreaster with 70 mile wind gusts. Torential rain ,40 mile sustained winds. Had expensive tent do that. And stayed dry.

  6. I found this Paria tent after lots of research for bikepacking 3 years ago. It is so awesome and has withstood heavy winds and heavy rains. I also use Paria’s Ti 1100cc pot and spoon. Their 3/4 sleeping pad isn’t bad for R, comfort and price. Great custy service too!

  7. I’ve been looking at this tent, but that fly vs the rain just doesn’t look like it will keep the inside dry

  8. There are dozens of tents better than this! Tents that open on the end make you climb over your gear to get in. My new Featherstone Granite 2 was only $109, 2 doors and two vestibules!

  9. Claire- Wild Beare on You Tube- I think we need you to do a post! – This should be a good one! šŸ„

  10. Have you ever looked into the GeerTop Navigator | 2 Person 4 Season Mountaineering Tent? Or just GeerTop tents in general? I’m interested in this one since it appears to be a solid 4-season tent at a 3-season price.

  11. I use the Featherstone obsidian 1 person tent and love it. When I bought it, it was under $150. You should check it out

  12. Hmmm is this really a genuine advertisement out of trying to help people or is it a sponsored product which takes something made in China then rebrands it to seem better quality?

  13. I’ve had one for over 3 years. The first had a hole in the floor pan, a quick email and I had a whole new tent in 4 days!!!

  14. I used this tent from marion VA to the lemon squeeze and then my buddy used ut the rest of the way to maine on the AT. Worked flawlessly the whole time. Wonderful tent

  15. Looking for a new tent. Honestly, is it as good as you say? What about staying dry, my problem is leaking tents. Do you know how it compares to the 1p Zion?

  16. You’re calling this tent ā€œone of the best backpacking tents out thereā€ because it’s lasted you almost a year? That’s the big impressive thing that sets it apart from virtually any other tent? That it hasn’t deteriorated within a year? Great job guy. Keep up the outstanding work.

  17. I have the two-person version, and both my backpacking buddy and I are under 5’9ā€, but it’s still a VERY snug fit. The mesh constantly touches my sleeping bag, compressing it and creating a cold spot. It’s not very ultralight, and the door design is incredibly frustrating. Additionally, since it’s made of nylon, it sags when it rains, causing the mesh to touch the fly, which leads to condensation and getting wet. For the price its great but honestly would spend a little more on something nicer if you really want to go on true backpacking trips in not so nice weather

  18. Under 3 lbs is false advertising unless you don’t use stakes and the foot print. Otherwise this is a 4.5 lb tent.
