  1. I enjoy the videos, but the editing could be better so there are no awkward situations. Also, ending the video prematurely

  2. Include a whistle, metal container to boil whater / coock food, a solid knife to process wood instead of the pocket knife and a disposable rain poncho.

  3. A well thought-out kit which addresses a variety of needs. Perhaps I missed it, but I would add a whistle because it is hard to signal with a mirror after dark. In my first aid kit I would also add some water purification tablets, a few small fish hooks, a needle, & dental floss which can serve as fishing line or sewing thread. These would add only a few ounces. Thanks for a very meaningful presentation, & may God bless you!

  4. Something that I read about involving Kevlar cordage is that if you’re using it for a task that somehow involves it rubbing against itself it’s going to effectively end up destroying itself.

  5. Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ my outdoors friend, thank you for sharing this informative video. That’s a nice kit , very practical ๐Ÿ‘Œ. Stay safe out there. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  6. Great little kit. I would add an SOL whistle. Flat, light weight, and can reach 10 times farther than your voice.

  7. I personally subscribe to the 10 common C’s of survival as well as an additional personal 6 C’s being Clean cold water ability, Care items, Communication methods, Calories (immediate or potential), Cash, and Conflict resolution (think 4-legged and 2-legged predators). Your kit, best I could tell, was only missing a few items that I would consider necessary for a complete "16C" kit. Great job!

  8. Looks like the bugs were starting to annoy you !
Perhaps a small midge headnet could be added to that kit .
The only thing, apart from that, that I would add to your excellent kit would be a good quality, lightweight, survival whistle from ACR or ACME.
Thought you had a well thought out list of items there, that would be ideal for a day walker.
